Iconic fashion house, Diesel, is redefining the concept of casual-luxe wear. Get your share of Black Gold.

According to Renzo Russo, Diesel’s founder and president, Black Gold is all about defining a “new concept of prêt-a-porter”.

Led by Diesel’s creative director, Wilbert Das, who is credited for helping the label gain its denim cred, Black Gold features garments with unexpected detailing, special treatments, dramatic graphics and bold silhouettes. Their latest line – Autumn 2009 – harkens back to a bygone era, when sophisticated layering and monochromatic tones were the order of the day.
Of course, like their denims, this stuff doesn’t come cheap. But you get what you pay for. And with Diesel, you know it’s going to be more than just a piece of clothing.
